As we have been for the last 10 years, we are continuing our work as teaching missionaries in South Korea. We love our students and our students love us! But we are also quite busy in other parts of the world.
Scott went to North Carolina in May to attend his graduation for his Ph.D. While he was there the Missions Director for Morningstar Ministries, Jorge Parrott, and his staff were excited to hear more about the Ring of Fire plan. They have invited us into their missions association as a partner ministry, and are committed to promoting the plan among their worldwide supporters.
In June we were warmly received at the Prepare the Way For The Lord conference here in Seoul. We had the honor to meet respected Korean Christian leaders, as well as some of the conference speakers from the U.S. Scott was able to give his book, The Establishment, along with partnership proposals for Ring of Fire to Rick Ridings and Mike and Cindy Jacobs. Rick Ridings is the Founder of Sukkat Hallel, an important House of Prayer in Jerusalem. He was very excited to hear of the Ring of Fire plan, and expressed his support. Mike and Cindy Jacobs were warm and encouraging. They agreed that the Ring of Fire plan is an important project, and expressed their support as well. It was an extremely blessed time.
In July Scott was sent out on a trip to Southeast Asia. In Vietnam he was warmly received by Pastors who were excited to hear about the Ring of Fire plan. He traveled from there to Burma to meet hill-tribe people in Northern Shan State, as they have been asking to learn more about the House of Prayer. On his trip Scott had the privilege of meeting and speaking to Pastors and groups of Christians there.
Scott had a harrowing trek up the mountains and into remote village areas, but mostly he ministered among a handful of pastors and their small congregations. It is a great honor and privilege to go to what is indeed the ends of the earth; preaching the gospel, teaching about the exciting promise of the house of prayer, and speaking out the dreams of God over the people and the land.
The first of these dreams is a Bibles project we are undertaking. During Burma’s decades-long ordeal under a communist dictatorship, Bibles have been considered contraband. Now that the country is tentatively opening up to the world as a fledgling democracy, the Bible is accepted, but in extremely scarce supply. In befriending local pastors, I found that even many of them had no Bibles!
Together we have made a plan to print and distribute Bibles; first as gifts to Pastors and Bible Students, then as gifts to congregations of Christians in Northern Shan State. From there we can continue to give them as gifts of love from a loving God. I spoke of the Bibles project in churches while I was in the United States, and we have had some donations to see Bibles acquired for the project.
We envision this project to be an opportunity for unity among the Body of Christ in the region. It will be a celebration of the Word of God, a gift to all who believe. It will be a gift of love from all of us, to the churches in the area, and from there the love of God can flow to the whole region.
• Pray that God will move on the hearts of important contacts. Please pray that the many leaders around the world that have heard of the Ring of Fire plan will be supernaturally reminded. Pray that they will feel God’s heart of urgency around the plan, and pray that they will follow through on the many offers to support and promote Ring of Fire and its house of prayer centers.
• Pray for Southeast Asia, and the Bibles project. Pray for covering and safety as we move forward. Pray for blessing for the project and for our local partners. Pray that God will accomplish all that He is sending us into this land to do, and pray for great grace. Pray for an outpouring of the power of God’s Love accompanying the outpouring of His Word in this land.
• Please keep praying for continued resources for us to keep going. Most of all pray that God will supply the investment that the plan still needs in Fiji.

Know that we are continually praying and working here in Korea and around the world for the establishment of the Kingdom and His promises. I am so glad to have the privilege of having so many friends and partners in this, His work throughout many nations!
Blessings In Christ,
