2014 The Year of the Open Door!

The new year 2014 promises to be an open door, a doorway into your end-time destiny!

To understand this we must understand God’s established times and seasons. In order to begin to see into God’s order we can look to the Hebrew alphabet. In Hebrew, the second letter is the Beit, or house. Beit corresponds with the number two. It is not a coincidence that in the last 15 years people, churches and ministries around the world are being prompted to establish houses of prayer in their communities. The very date is a picture to us that the time is now — this is the time in history for the establishment of the House of God in our midst.

The ten in 2014 is Yod, the open right hand of God. His hand is outstretched as He calls, “everyone who is thirsty, come…” Yod represents the extension of love, the offer of blessing, fullness and power. Yod denotes action, as activity arises out of illumination. Yod shows God’s hand outstretched in order to set a new work in motion!

The fourth letter of the Hebrew is the Dalet, or doorway. Corresponding to the number four, it stands for the doorway of entrance, of access; for security, refuge, acquisition, provision and revelation. The Hebrew number four also carries to us meaning from the fourth day of creation — the separation of the light and the darkness.

This will be a year of consecration and separation, a year to continue laying everything down before Him, even as the darkness gets darker around us. But in the midst of this He will be calling and releasing us to arise and shine, for Jesus, our light, has come even as great darkness covers the peoples of the world around us.

The number four is also the number of the tribe of Judah: the house of praise! 2004 is a year for unprecedented praise and worship before the throne of God as we arise and shine in the earth. An outpouring of worship must accompany our arising and shining as we establish the House of God in the Earth.

The Doorway Into Your Destiny

Taking all this together, then, we can see that 2014 is a year to come through the doorway that He is opening into your destiny in God’s love. It is a year to lay down all that may be holding you back, come into His presence, and — arise and shine! It is the year to take His hand and step into His presence for all of your security and all of your provision. Come in through a new doorway into His presence for the acquisition of more life, more light and more revelation of His heart. It is a year to come into His presence and power with worship and praise!

We know that Jesus is this door! Take hold of Him, laying everything else down as we come boldly to the throne of grace through the veil, that is His flesh, and into a new level of light, joy and destiny in 2014. God’s very hand of light is outstretched to give us everything we need. The grace is being extended to us: the wisdom, the provision, the knowledge, ability and power. This grace is ours to step out into our full calling as heirs in God’s household — as we come through the door and take our place abiding in Christ, living in heavenly places, in the very presence of God. The time is now — step through the Open Door into the fullness of God’s destiny for your life!
