Cities of Refuge

MillarWattTempleLLIn times of difficulty, God has promised that He will establish “pockets of mercy” as spiritual and natural oases, like the land of Goshen during the days of Joseph (Gen. 47:27). The people of Goshen experienced growth and multiplication from the Lord on all they possessed; their land was called “the best” in all of Egypt (Gen. 47:6). These regions drip with the abundance of the Lord and are fruitfully blessed in all manners of life (Ps. 65:13). These places of refuge become communities where natural crops flourish, businesses thrive, families sing for joy, and individuals live with divine purpose.

This clearly describes the vision that we are working to realize right now. The plan that The Lord has shown us is to plant House of Prayer communities in the midst of tribal groups around the Pacific Rim. These will host schools, micro-enterprise, social development outreach and feature hospitality facilities as an economic engine. They will be cities of refuge built for and among the most needy indigenous peoples; and they will be welcoming communities for people from all over the world.

In our day, God is moving us and the hearts of many more to help establish these pockets of mercy that serve as a blessed dwelling place for people in times of trouble, and a resting place for the Presence of the Lord (Ps. 132:5). We are right now working on the blueprints that God has given us on how to establish these oases prophesied in scripture in Psalm 107:35 – 38.

Last night at the Iris Korea Gathering Norberto Sango prophesied springs and fountains springing up for Dionne and I. This echoed a word that we received many years ago that God would give us “virgin springs”. At that time a spring opened up in the basement of the townhouse we rented in Canada. This word, given to us over the years and confirmed by signs in the earth, is further confirmed in scripture in Psalm 107: 35-38 which says, “He [the Lord] turns a wilderness into pools of water, and dry land into water springs; there He brought the needy to live that they may establish a city for a dwelling place, and sow fields and plant vineyards, that they may yield a fruitful harvest. He also blesses them and they greatly multiply.”

This plan is being confirmed to us on nearly a daily basis. This plan is moving forward in Fiji. God, we dedicate our lives to build it – we look to Your Hand for everything.

Please join with us in prayer that God will bring in the supply that will allow us to make this heavenly plan a reality in the earth!
