God has baited His Hook — a prophetic word

I saw what looked like a worm on a hook. When I looked closer, I saw that it was a serpent—I saw its scales like armor, hard like an insect’s external skeleton. It was threaded on a hook, its scaly armor pierced through as if by an expert fisherman. I saw the serpent struggling on the hook, and God began to tell me that this wiggling serpent is the gathering darkness that is increasing in the world today. He went on to explain that our increased warfare and all of the mounting troubles and difficulties that the Body of Christ has been going through are all no more than this wriggling worm.

I then saw the immense face of the great leviathan looming up behind the worm on the hook. The mouth on its monstrous face opened wide and swallowed the worm, “hook, line and sinker”. I could see that God is angling for the enemy of our souls. He has allowed the power of the serpent to rise as bait for the “the big one”. He is after the very power that holds us in various difficulties. For God it’s little more than baiting a hook and relaxing on the shore, but He is angling for the enemy of our souls. The enemy is about to take the bait, and God will put a hook in the leviathan’s jaw, at which point it will be all over but the skinning and fish fry. Praise God, because He is about to have the victory in your life!

“ Can you pull in the Leviathan with a fish hook or tie down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook?” Job 41:1-11. ” Then Job replied to the Lord: ’I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.’” Job 42:1 & 2.
