On This Mountain — a prophetic word

A word for the City of Seoul and K1 House of Prayer

From Isaiah 25 —

Given during the K1 evening session, May 11, 2010.

Please pray through this in agreement as you read:

O Lord, You are our God! We exalt You! We praise Your Name,

In perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things –

Things that You planned long ago –

  • You have made this city a heap of rubble –
  • You have made this fortified town a ruin –

But we pray, God, that You will build up the broken walls, heal the old wounds…

  • We pray that You will heal the old memories –
  • Bring the old injustices to justice –
  • bind up the brokenhearted –
  • And heal the bitterness of the past…

But this city will not be a foreigner’s stronghold any more…

The old ambitions of the strong and ruthless nations will never be rebuilt!

  • China will honor You, God, because of what you are about to do here…
  • Japan will honor You…
  • Russia will honor You…
  • America will honor You because of what You are about to do here –
  • The Nations will revere You…

For You, oh God, have been a refuge for the poor here in this nation,

  • You have been a refuge for the needy here in Korea…
  • You have upheld the people of Korea…
  • You have saved them in great distress…
  • You have prospered South Korea, God…

And the song of the ruthless will be stilled…

God says that He is establishing K1 House of Prayer as a Mountain of His presence…

And on this mountain The Lord will prepare a feast for all Nations…

  • Prepare us, God…
  • Set Your presence here,
  • Set Your table here, and prepare this place to be a banquet of the wine of Your Spirit…

On this mountain God will destroy the shroud that covers the people of the Earth…

  • Tear through the veils of sin and selfishness here, God…
  • Cut down the veils of separation between Your people, God…
  • Make the brothers one, God, and begin here!

Here on this mountain God will wipe away the tears of this people…

  • He will wipe away the tears of the Japanese people because of the magnitude of grace and mercy that will be poured out here…
  • He will wipe away the tears of the North Koreans…
  • God will wipe away the tears of all peoples all over the Earth, and He will begin here.

God says that He will remove the disgrace that has been perpetrated upon this land and its people…

And salvation will be sent forth from this mountain and this nation, and the people of the world will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him and He saved us…” v 9.

And the Hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain…

God, establish this word! The Lord has spoken!
